Your Tasks 

• Collaborate to the design, development, and optimization of speech recognition systems for in-vehicle applications

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to integrate speech recognition features seamlessly into automotive platforms

• Analyze and evaluate speech recognition systems and their implementation in infotainment platforms on test benches, in vehicles and through automation

• Propose innovative solutions to improve accuracy, robustness, and performance

• Work closely with external partners, suppliers, and academic institutions to leverage industry best practices and stay at the forefront of speech recognition technology

• Analyze competitor vehicles and define goals for speech recognition development projects

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Phonetics or related field

• Hands-on experience in speech recognition research and development, preferably in the automotive industry would be beneficial

• Experience with cloud-based speech recognition services and APIs

• Knowledge in HMI and usability

• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Fluent in German and English
